We partner with a trusted outpatient surgery center to provide safe, efficient care for your outpatient procedure.

To help you prepare, we’ve provided important pre-operative information, required paperwork, and facility details below. Please review all materials carefully prior to your scheduled procedure.

You will need to bring your completed paperwork, photo ID, and insurance card(s) with you on the day of surgery.

Facility Information

Surgery Center Location & Contact Information

If you have questions regarding your arrival time, facility fees, or any other facility-specific instructions, please contact the surgery center directly.

Before Your Procedure
  • You will be contacted two business days prior to your procedure with your arrival time by a text message from the surgery center. Our office will not have your arrival times.
  • Do not eat or drink anything – including water – after midnight unless otherwise instructed.
  • Arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home. Your driver must remain with you at the facility throughout the duration of your procedure.
  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
  • Leave valuables at home.
Medications to Stop Prior to Surgery

Always confirm with your physician before stopping any medications.

Common medications that may need to be stopped include:

  • Blood thinners (such as aspirin, warfarin, plavix, eliquis, etc.)
  • Anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen, naproxen)
  • GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Mounjaro, Jardiance, etc.)
  • All vitamins & supplements (especially fish oil, vitamin E, herbal supplements)

You will receive specific instructions regarding your medications prior to your procedure.

Billing Information

You will be quoted with the surgeon’s (Dr. Cassisi or Dr. Bullen) portion of the surgical fees at the time of scheduling your procedure. These fees will be due by one week prior to the procedure and may be paid to our office in person or over the phone.

The surgery center will bill you separately for facility-related services. If you have questions regarding the facility’s portion of the surgical fees, please contact the surgery center directly.
